Quilt Along: In and Out Quilt – Week 4 of 5

Hello again!  It’s time for Week 4 of the “In and Out” Quilt Along!

In this assignment, we are going to start forming the blocks for our In and Out quilt.

This is when the process gets exciting because you get to see the blocks come together.

So let’s get started!

 

Sew the half square triangles to the 4 5/8″ white and pastel squares as shown.  Choose colors for your rows randomly.

Row 1 – Randomly select 2 half-square triangles and 1 4 5/8″ square. Sew together as shown.

Make 48 Row 1 units.

 

 

 

 

 

Row 2 -Row 2 – Randomly select 1 4 5/8″ colored unit and two 4 5/8″ white units. Sew together as shown.

Make 24 Row 2 units

 

 

 

 

4. Sew two Row 1 units and one Row 2 unit together as shown to form the 12 1/2″ block.

Make 24 block.
