Are you ready for Week 2 of the Quilt Along?<\/p>\n<p>Here we go!<\/p>\n<p>This is a very personal project for me, since it is the first pattern I will be publishing in, what I hope, is a long line of patterns yet to come. \u00a0I&#8217;ve already got many designed, and some made.<\/p>\n<p>This week we are going to be cutting the pieces we will need to make our quilt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-13722\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/CutPieces-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/CutPieces.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/CutPieces.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/CutPieces.jpg?w=816&amp;ssl=1 816w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Cutting Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut 48 five-inch squares of pastel fabric or use charm pack squares<\/li>\n<li>Cut 48 five-inch squares of white fabric<\/li>\n<li>Cut 24 &#8211; 4 1\/2-inch pastel squares<\/li>\n<li>Cut 96 &#8211; 4 1\/2-inch white squares<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here are the pieces I cut for my quilt:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it for this week! \u00a0Here is a schedule of what we will be working on each week so you have an idea of what&#8217;s coming.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 1<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/quilt-along-in-and-out-quilt-week-1-of-5\/\">Introduction, choose fabric for quilt.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 2<\/strong> &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/quilt-along-in-and-out-quilt-week-2-of-5\/\"> Cutting the pieces you will need to make the quilt.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 3<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/quilt-along-in-and-out-week-3-of-5\/\">Sew half square triangles.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 4<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/week_4_of_5\/\">Assemble blocks.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 5<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/quilt-along-in-and-out-quilt-week-5-of-5\/\">Sew the blocks together into the full quilt.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 6<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/quiltedturtle.com\/2018\/quilt-along-in-and-out-week-6-bonus-week\/\">Show and Tell &#8211; See quilts from other quilters!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And be sure to forward the link to this page to your friends.
