In this assignment, we are going to start forming the blocks for our In and Out quilt.<\/p>\n

This is when the process gets exciting because you get to see the blocks come together.<\/p>\n

So let’s get started!<\/p>\n

Constructing the Block<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sew the half square triangles to the 4 1\/2″ background and pastel squares as shown.\u00a0 Choose colors for your rows randomly.<\/p>\n

Row 1<\/strong> – Randomly select 2 half-square triangles and one 4 1\/2″ background square. Sew together as shown.<\/p>\n

Make 48 Row 1 units.<\/p>\n

Press seams toward the pastel fabric.\u00a0 Press inner seams inward to create flat seams.<\/p>\n
